Salon Etiquette

 

As a salon guest, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time so you can have a few moments to unwind and get comfortable. Starting your appointment on time allows you to receive the full benefit of your complete, unhurried service. It will also allow you time to look through magazines for ideas about what you would like from your service.

 Leaving gratuity is always left to the discretion of our clients. As in all service-related businesses, it is common practice to leave gratuity when the professional has performed a service to the client’s satisfaction.

 

We welcome “walk-in” guests and will do our best to accommodate last minute requests for services if scheduling allows.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Salon Prodigy is all about you! We aim to provide you with the highest standards of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so you will return and recommend us again and again. To learn how you can earn points for your next visit ask an associate on your next visit!

SERVICE GUARANTEE

We offer a 100% guarantee on ALL services within the two weeks after they were performed. You may book a redo appointment at any time within the first week, thereafter only with use of recommended at-home care products. Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results. Stylists will determine all guarantees. Because of the nature of home coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon. 

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Hair Salon: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Tanning Salon: Minimum age requirement for tanning at Salon Prodigy is 16. If under the age of 18 you must have parent/guardian fill out a tanning consent form. 

 CONSULTATIONS
A consultation is a perfect opportunity to become acquainted with your stylist and address any questions you may have before receiving your service. Our stylists are highly trained professionals and will advise on the treatment best suited to your needs and expectations. Certain procedures, such as color correction or hair straightening, require a consultation prior to the service. Consultations are free, so if you feel more comfortable having a consultation before your service just ask an associate while booking your next appointment and we will schedule a consultation before the service. 

PRODUCT RETURNS

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our hair, skin, and tanning products. If you decide that it is not the right product for you, and provided that most the original amount of the product is unused, we will gladly take it back and exchange it for another product within 7 days of original purchase. No cash or credit card refunds, exchanges only.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are recommended so that you can get in at a time that is best for you.

As a courtesy to our clients, all appointments are confirmed 24-hours prior to the scheduled service.

If arrivals for services are more than 10 minutes late you may be subject to being rescheduled and/or charged a surcharge fee.

SURCHARGE FEE FOR MISSED APPOINTMENTS

We kindly ask for a 24 hour cancellation notice for a service. Missed appointments or late cancellations will result in a 15% surcharge on the service that was cancelled. Our cancellation fee is designed to provide partial compensation for our wonderful stylists, who rely on us to manage their schedule and their career

PRODUCT HOME CARE

Continued results are achieved through daily use of professional products at home. Your professional will recommend a home care regimen to maintain your results between visits. We offer daily specials to make professional home care affordable for everyone!

CHILD CARE

Children are welcome in the salon. Children under the age of 12 need to be  accompanied by a parent/adult/guardian. For their safety children will be seated in stylist chairs only when scheduled for  a hair appointment. 

TAXES

Any hair or tanning service price is subject to change due to taxes. Unfortunately this will make some services seem more spendy than what was previously paid. To offset the new tax we have a 10% off coupon on all our receipts. So next time your in ask for your receipt!
